These two little boys are named Lionel and Lennox, and they are my ex-brother-in-law Daniel Wallström’s little twin children that he has with his wife Jessica. They were born prematurely in week 28, and unfortunately the boy closest in the picture, Lionel, passed away due to complications that the premature birth brought with it.
It is always a sensitive thing for me to make portraits like this one in the light of such a tragedy, but I hope that I have done them, and especially little Lionel, justice in my portrayal as much as possible.
Lennox, on the other hand, is growing and catching up, he is certainly a little sweet baby, and I sincerely hope that he will continue on the same path without complications.
